Join us for a morning of maintenance in the steep gully just below Rock Lobster that contains the trails Point Brake, Rode House and Dirty Distancing. These are a great set of technical trails that are in need of a buff up after all the rain that has flowed down this creek over the last 3 years. Let’s get them back to where they should be – a stepping stone between the XC and gravity trails.
Meet at the bottom of Point Brake (near end of Rock Lobster) at 08:30 on Sunday 7th April. All tools and instruction will be provided. Coffee and pastries for morning tea are from Maitland Street Roasters and Three Mills Bakery. We’ll finish up at about midday – but hang around for a beer from Capital Brewing Co. or wine from Lark Hill Winery.
We appreciate that this is the same day as the Capital Kamikaze Gravity Enduro race at Stromlo Forest Park. If you were thinking of entering or volunteering at this event please do so. Grass roots club events need support. There will be plenty more trail days.
