Beginner Area Trail Day – 19th March

Rest your biking legs and bring your arm muscles to the next Majura Pines trail day on Sunday 19th March. We will be working on the trails at the beginner area. These trails are super important as the first taste of mountain biking for many (and not bad for a quick warm up for those of us who have been riding a bit longer). However there are some serious drainage issues that we need to fix to keep the little shredders spinning all year round. Drainage needs to be updated and then a large amount of blue metal gravel spread. There will be a lot of wheel barrow action…

Like all MPTA trail days you won’t go hungry. There will be coffee from Maitland Street Roasters, pastries from Three Mills Bakery and hang around afterwards for some cold beers from Capital Brewing Co.

We’ll meet at the entrance to the beginner area next to the (free) car park on Majura Rd at 08:00. If you arrive a few minutes late head to the bottom of The Flash (trail that runs behind the pump track) and you’ll soon find us. All welcome, no previous experience required, all tools and tuition provided.
