Get Involved

The Majura Pines is a constantly growing and evolving network. The trails are built and maintained by volunteers – the Majura Pines Trail Alliance. We are mountain bikers, just like you, looking after the trails that we ride. There are several ways you, or your organisation, can get involved.

Volunteer at a Trail Day

Regular trail building and maintenance days are held throughout the year; typically on Sunday mornings or summer evenings. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience required. Tools, instruction and refreshments are provided.

The best way to find out about trail building is to sign up to our mailing list. All events are also posted on facebook and Instagram.

Donate

If, for whatever reason, trail building isn’t your thing you can donate to our trail fund via the PayPal button below. We rely on donations to buy tools and materials. Thank you.

Join Us

Majura Pines Trail Alliance is organised by an informal Steering Committee. We are registered with the ACT Parks and Conservation Services ParkCare program.

In addition to planning and leading trail days there are many other jobs that we do behind the scenes. These include advocacy, sponsorship, web design, social media, photography, graphic design, merchandise, equipment maintenance and much more.

We are always on the lookout for motivated leaders who want to contribute. Send an email to majurapinestrails@gmail.com if that sounds like you.

Become A Sponsor

Whilst the Majura Pines trails are volunteer built, sponsorship allows us to enhance the work that we do. Whether it is providing high quality refreshments for hard working volunteers, buying timber for bridges and north shore features or engaging trail building contractors to maintain the very popular machine built trails. We have a range of sponsorship packages to suit businesses and individuals.

Come To Us With An Idea

If you have a suggestion about how you can help build and maintain the trails please let us know. No idea is too big nor too small. It might involve trail building, fundraising, a corporate link up or most likely be something we haven’t thought of at all.

Email your brain waves to majurapinestrails@gmail.com.
