Located on the east side of Majura Parkway adjacent to the main car park is the Beginner Area. Here you will find two short Green (easy) trails, the pump track, Majurassic Park (dirt jumps), a long drop toilet, water bubbler and two picnic tables.
Beginner Trails
To the south of the car park is The Flash and to the north Crazy Crab Walk. Both of these trails are short, fairly flat but have enough features to keep riders interested whilst developing their skills. There are several short cuts that allow the loops to be shortened or varied.
Once your have conquered these trails, why not try our sign posted Green loop, on the other side of the Majura Parkway.
Pump Track
Located just to the south of the picnic area, near the start of The Flash, is a small pump track. Pump tracks are great for a warm up or for honing skills. Many of the skills used to “pump” your way round are applicable to other aspects of trail riding, including jumps.
Majurassic Park (dirt jumps)
The Majura Pines Dirt Jump Park (Majurassic Park) is also located at the north end of the beginner area – follow Crazy Crab Walk and then over the small bridge. For more information about see the dirt jumps page.
