Last night a small group of Majura Pines Trail Alliance volunteers completed the final bit of maintenance work on Bombora. We have been working backwards up this trail so all that was left was the first two creek crossings. As before the old rocks were excavated and then relaid, with a healthy amount of new rocks. When beautifully smooth and totally solid we covered in dirt and compacted. Drainage issues were also addressed and more water and some shaping applied to the nice little hip jump we resurrected last time.
Thanks to Capital Brewing Co. for the beers afterwards and to everyone who has volunteered over the last couple months on the epic rebuild of this trail. Remember if you ride Majura but, for whatever reason, can’t come trail building you can donate to our Trail Fund via PayPal or by buying some merch from this site.
