Bombora Clean Up Part 2

It was hot and sweaty, even first thing, but a serious shift from a small group of Majura Pines Trail Alliance volunteers meant that the last 4 gully crossings on Bombora are as buttery smooth as when they were first built.

The old rock armouring was excavated, re-laid, with a healthy addition of new rocks, and all our beautiful work covered over in smooth dirt.

A big thanks to trail day sponsors Maitland Street Roasters who kept us caffeinated and cool with ice cold coffee. If you are looking for a fair trade, sustainably packaged, local supply of coffee beans then check them out.

Our normal “public” trail days will resume soon. – not least on the top end of Bombora. With the limited space, precision work required and, obviously, the current Covid situation this wasn’t possibly this time.
