We have an important trail day next Wednesday 7th February from 5.30pm when we will be making the required changes to Wombat to accommodate the new high ropes course . We will also be clearing, and hopefully opening, a few of the other storm damaged trails in this area.
We have been asked several times if any trails are being lost for the high ropes course. With the exception of 2 corners on Wombat that are being re-aligned, the answer is no. In fact, we are taking this opportunity to upgrade the trail so it should be as good, if not better, than before.
Wombat, and likely Radicle, will remain closed for the next few weeks during the construction phase.
So come along for a couple of hours on Wednesday and lend a hand (and also take a sneak peak at the ropes course up close). All tools and instruction are provided. We will be meeting at 5.30pm at the start of Wombat, just a short ride or walk through the underpass from the free beginner area carpark. Hang around afterwards for a beer from Capital Brewing Co. or wine from Lark Hill Winery.
