Swayze Gully Fixed!

The weather just about relented (ignoring the hailstones whilst we set up) for a dozen hardy volunteers to get some great work done at the first of our evening builds this “summer”.

We concentrated our efforts on the trails in Swayze Gully which have been badly damaged by storms. A new diversion was raked in where a section of trail had become un-usable, more trees and branches cut, upturned root balls trimmed back and holes filled in, creek crossing rock armouring repaired and everything hit with the leaf blower.

As a result Point Brake, Rode House and Dirty Distancing are all open again and in great condition. Get out and enjoy them this week!
A huge thanks to Capital Brewing Co. who provided the post dig refreshments. Great to have Laurence and Jonny along on the tools as well. Support the awesome local businesses who support us.
