Gemma Ruddick, a student in the Masters in Health in Remote and Extreme Environments through the University of Tasmania, is completing a study on electronic mountain biking injuries in the ACT and immediate surrounding regions between 01 December 2022 and 14 April 2023. E-MTB injuries have not previously been specifically studied and so it will be a first look at the epidemiology of mountain biking injuries.
If you have suffered such an injury then she would be very grateful if you could complete a 5-10 minute online survey which will cover basic demographic information as well as information on the location, severity and type of injury that the rider sustained. The study has ethics approval from the University of Tasmania Human research ethics committee and from ACT Health.
