Trails Status – 10/11/22

Despite a week of sunshine things aren’t a whole lot better at Majura; it’s going to take a while longer to dry out and Sunday’s forecast isn’t going to help. On the plus side ACT Parks and Conservation Service, assisted and guided by our volunteers, have been out on the chainsaws and a number of trails are open again. Read on for the full break down.

FLOW TRAILS:
Barry and Planet Claire are again your best bet. Rock Lobster is clear again. PLEASE DON”T RIDE WINERY HILL. Lower Pinot Grinio, Bombora, Mr Squiggle and the Three Bears jumps trails all have prevalent mud. There is also a dangerous leaning tree near the top of Batcave.

GRAVITY TRAILS:
Mainly good. The bottom third of Short Memory is closed – cut across on to Touching Cloth instead. Point Brake and Dirty Distancing are closed due to fallen trees.

XC TRAILS:
Best avoided. Nearly all have mud somewhere. They are simply below the current water table. Radicle is still closed because of fallen trees and Innabaanya also has a tree down on the A/B line split. Wonder Woman is blocked near the top. Trees have been cleared on Cannery Row and Dew Drop Inn.

BEGINNER TRAILS:
We have cut in a short cut bypassing the bottom, sodden third of The Flash. Otherwise both ok.
